When SAGE first arrived at Beautiful Benevolence, she came with a simple purpose: to make ordinary days feel a little more comfortable.
She waited patiently on a wrist until she was needed.
She kept hair away from warm summer necks.
She travelled on walks, holidays, gardening afternoons and quiet cups of tea.
Never demanding attention.
Always quietly useful.
Over time we realised that SAGE wasn’t just a scrunchie.
She had become a companion.

Although each companion has her own story, they all share the same values.
Every SAGE scrunchie is handmade in the UK using beautiful Liberty of London Tana Lawn cotton, stitched with cellulose thread and finished with a plastic-free stretch core made from organic cotton and natural rubber.
They’re designed to be gentle on your hair and gentle on our planet.
Most hair accessories are made using synthetic fibres and petroleum-based elastic that can remain in landfill for decades.
We wanted to create something different.
Something beautiful enough to become a favourite.
Something thoughtful enough to leave memories, not waste behind.
As our little family grows, we hope each companion quietly finds the person she belongs with.
Not because she was persuaded to.
